Method to Folding the Ultimate Rebound:
If the springs squeak:

The occurrance of squeaking depends on regional tempuratures and humidity. This happens on about 20% of the rebounders used over a period of time.

We recommend using WD-40. Spot spray WD-40 on the spring at the point where the spring attaches to the frame.

Be sure to apply lubricant in a well ventilated area. Outside is recommended.
If it becomes necessary to remove a spring:

Fold up the Ultimate Rebound so that there is no tension on the springs.

Push the spring down into the spring well as far as possible.

Insert a flat head screw driver between the spring and the frame and using leverage lift up on the spring until it disengages. Good job!
To attach a spring:

Attach the spring to the mat by turning the mat/spring attachment on its side and slide the spring into its slot in the mat/spring attachment.

Fold up the Ultimate Rebound so that there is no tension on the springs.

Position the spring at an angle so that the belly of the spring is at the bottom of the spring well and the hook of the spring is on top of the spring bar in the frame.

Slightly tap the spring with a small hammer and the spring will snap right on the spring bar.
If the spring will not fit on top of the spring bar:
Find a coat hanger and create a small hook tool.
Pull the spring hook up over the spring bar.
Tap the spring with a small hammer and the spring will snap right on the spring bar.

Method to Folding the Ultimate Rebound: The Ultimate Rebound, an amazing composite polymer quarter-folding rebounder,is new and unique in design and workmanship! Its design requires us to treat it differently. The springs that provide the perfect amount of resistance while the Ultimate Rebound is being used for exercise are also used to provide just the right resistance to insure that the unit is not folded up accidentally. The half-fold hinges are off center so that they require conscious effort for a person to fold the Ultimate Rebound. There are several techniques to folding the Ultimate Rebound. After turning the Rebound upside down, turn each of the six permanently attached legs 30 degrees to the left and pull each up until you can fold each into its own compartment in the underside of the frame. Notice that there are four hinges - two half fold hinges and two quarter-fold hinges. The half-fold hinges run horizontally across the frame. The quarter-fold hinges run vertically on the inside of the frame. My favorite method of folding: If you have two people available (pictured above), have one person stand on the upside down frame with each foot positioned just behind each half-fold hinge. The other person should grab the other half at the quarter-fold hinge with one hand under and one hand over the frame. Lift up for at least eight inches to overcome the tension making sure that you have control of the half of the frame so that it does not hit the standing person in the shins. After that there is no tension and you can easily fold the unit in half. Finally, move the two half-fold hinges together until they touch. You can now install the unit into the carrying case.
